Second train-the-trainer workshop on Open Innovation & Entrepreneurship is officially starting!
Here we go again. Today, Feb 2, 2022, the second DIOSI train-the-trainer workshop starts! Once again, our main objective is to train trainers in delivering the training programme to the DCs and ECRs. This time, we will focus on Open Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
We live in a knowledge-based and innovative society that requires entrepreneurial and innovation skills from young people. Doctoral Candidates (DC) and Early Career Researchers (ECR) are certainly a group that would greatly benefit from having these skills. Therefore, the DIOSI project has prepared a training program on Open Innovation and Entrepreneurship that is officially ready to start!
In this workshop, participants from the universities of the YUFE Alliance will learn the fundamentals of innovation and entrepreneurship, they will explore the impact of entrepreneurial training, and they will be able to organize and facilitate challenge-based trainings on innovation and entrepreneurship for early career researchers.
The Open Innovation & Entrepreneurship training sees trainers as change agents and places Doctoral Candidates (DC) and Early Career Researchers (ECRs) at the centre. Trainers will learn more about the fundamentals of innovation and entrepreneurship, intellectual property management, funding opportunities, and many more. They will also work in groups and learn through case studies. After gaining knowledge and skills from this training, the trainers will have the opportunity to offer workshops for DCs and ECRs at their home institutions.
